Jamu Balinese Drink Recipe


We love this traditional Balinese medicinal drink. Not only is it good for you, but it's super delicious too! Join us for our free info session on 5/18 in Carlsbad, CA and we'll sample some!

Ingredients

3 inch piece of fresh turmeric root, chopped

3 inch piece of fresh ginger root, chopped

2-4 Tbsp lime juice

1-2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup

4 Cups of filtered water

Steps

1. Boil ginger and tumeric root in filtered water for 15-20 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Strain liquid into serving container.

4. Add honey and lime juice to taste.

5. Enjoy! Drink can be served warm or can be refrigerated for 3-4 days.
